Chris Maglocci, WPTC Assistant Professional

Chris Maglocci is the WPTC assistant pro. She is both PPTA and USPTA certified with teaching experience at all levels for women, men, and juniors.

Her playing accomplishments include:

  • Cleveland Masters 2019 Champion
  • West Penn Invitational 2019 runner-up
  • President’s Cup champion 2018, runner up 2017 and 2019
  • Chris was ranked #10 Nationally in 2020.

Chris works with Greg in our Women’s drills, runs women’s open play and the spring leagues and programming. She is also available for private and group lessons for men, women, and junior players. Chris is a contributing author for Platform Tennis Magazine.

Mike Benson, WPTC Instructor

Mike Benson is our Men’s Saturday pro and manages our Saturday morning Men’s Open Play.

Mike is a long-time platform tennis and tennis professional, having been a pro at clubs on the North Shore for many years. Drills and private lessons can be arranged by contacting Mike.

Linda Ball, WPTC & WPD Instructor

Linda is a PPTA-certified pro since 2013 who teaches paddle at WPD and WPTC.

She is the Live Scoring Coordinator for the APTA, and contributes articles to their platform tennis magazine.

Alan Graham, WPD Instructor

Alan, AKA “Mr. Paddle”, has taught paddle for more than 40 years. He is a three-time Senior Men’s National Champion and has been commissioner of the Chicago Platform Tennis Charities since 1995.  Under his leadership, Chicago has grown from 850 players to nearly 3000 and accounts for nearly 1/3 of the APTA’s membership! Alan is a 2010 inductee into the APTA Hall of Fame.

Robert Stahl, WPD Instructor

AKA The Cajun, Robert is a PPTA-certified pro who plays and teaches paddle year round.  He is an instructor for Winnetka Park District beginner and intermediate classes, and is available for private and group lessons.

He is currently the Chicago Rep for Total Platform Tennis LLC court builders.
